Community Events Promotion and Sponsorships


			Southwest Florida is home to a wide array of community and regional events. We are proud to be actively involved in supporting numerous projects, programs and organizations that reflect Southwest Florida's heritage and contribute to the cultural fabric of our community. Every year, we receive hundreds of applications from groups requesting publicity for their events or for sponsorship. We review each request and, based on our qualification criteria and guidelines, we honor as many of these requests as our time and resources allow. Please Note: our guidelines and qualification criteria have recently changed. Kinds of Support Scripps Southwest Florida Group offers four types of support: Press Release Submission – You can submit your press releases directly to our newsrooms for consideration. Community Calendar – We can place your event on our Community Calendar Community Ad – You must posses a 501(c)(3) to be considered for the Community Ad program. Review our guidelines community ads and submit your online application. Sponsorship – To be considered for the Sponsorship/Partnership program, review our guidelines and qualification criteria and submit your online application a minimum of 8 weeks prior to your event.
